The Pretty Committee Strikes Back

                                             ***SPOILER FOR THE BOOKS BEFORE***
In The Pretty Committee Strikes Back  the Clique girls are back with a big camping trip. After Claire kisses Josh and her break up with Cam she has been so sad. She knows if Alicia finds out she kissed Josh she will be dead. While for Massie she is tired of people still praising Nina so she opens a kissing clinic for girls before the big girl-boy camping trip. Only problem is shes a lip virgin. This presidents day co-ed camping trip is either getting the girls excited or freaked. Especially when Kristen can't go. Dylan loses 10 pounds and is ready for this camping trip to get some guys. Alicia and Olivia are on the lead to finding out who Josh likes, but Claire won't let that happen. Claire wants Cam, Josh wants Claire, Alicia wants Josh, Derrington wants Massie, Dylan wants Chris, and Chris wants Olivia. What can happen on a camping trip like this?

----------------------------------------------------------------

This has to be my favorite Clique book so far. This book is clever with more cunning tricks and secrets to go around. With love triangles and annoying parents the clique is here. The Pretty Committee definitely can't leave The State of The Union empty in this book. This book is recommended, but of course read the books before. Lisi Harrison really understands tween drama in a suburban rich people town.

The Lonely Hearts Club

Penny Lane is sick and tired of love. When her boyfriend cheats on her she swears not to date another boy for a long time. Thats when her and her friends start The Lonely Hearts Club. This club is just about a no-boy land. It starts growing bigger and bigger. While a sweet boy wants to be with Penny Lane (and even sings the beatles song to her) she keeps her vow. The Lonely Hearts Club becomes the most popular club in school and every girl in school joins just for popularity. While love creeps up on the main girls and on Penny Lane we all hope for the best. The Lonely Hearts Club is a inspiration to girls everywhere knowingly to always put you and your friends first. Boys arent everything and this book shows that.

--------------------------------------------------------------

I read this book last year and loved it. While Penny Lanes parents love the beatles (hence her name and the book title) this romantic book is sweet. Giving up boys can't last forever but a break is always good. Penny Lane is such a great insparation and we only hope to be like her or have her as a friend in High School. This book is great for girls and very funny. This book is a romance comedy and you'll never want it to end, I know I didn't!

But for hiking her partner is someone she knows but not well. A abberation named Ky who can't be matched or married. Ky is mysterious and kind, and knows the secrets lost in the past. After her grandfathers death she learns her path but won't yet except it. Ky knows things society banished. He knows cursive and songs. She slowly is falling in love with Ky but she also loves Xander. Which path will she take and will she be true to her heart. In this book based in the future Society picks everything for you. Will love conquer all?

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Like The Hunger Games a trilogy set in the future where society controls your life. I love the motto used for the books 'Society Matched Them But Love Set Them Free'. Matched is about finding your own path. Matched is also followed up by Crossed, and Reached. These books are great and truly recommended. In a plain society where clothes, love, and jobs are all picked for you. Cassia is a true heroine and good example to girls everywhere. Choice is always better

The Summoning

The Summoning is about Chloe who after a episode at school is sent to Lyle mental house where she soon discovers she is a necromancer and can see ghosts. The necklace her mother gave her as a child made the ghosts disappear but now it lost its power. She also finds out the other patients there are things like witches, half-demons, werewolves and more. The owners are part of a group called Eddison Group, a team of scientists of supernatural causes using these teens for a experiment. If the teens disobey they get sent to 'the next house' which Chloe finds out thats what they call death. Her and her new found friends fear for their lives and hope to escape. Her old rooomate Liz was sent to 'The Next House' and her ghost helps them escape. Each one of their powers is a strength and a weakness. Also two brothers who are both attracted to Chloe and Chloe is also attracted to them. This book is filled with questions, life depending escapes, and a love triangle including brothers Derek and Simon. What can a new found necromancer do?

-------------------------------------------------------------------

The first book in The Darkest Power trilogy will keep you hooked and wanting more. The characters you can't help loving and still reading about normal teenage girl things Chloe goes through you'll love it. This book is frightful and filled with great escapes. Luckily some characters have a comedic twist making the book less suspenseful. This supernatural novel of a mental hospital filled with powerful teens is something I deffinetly recommend.

Radiance

Radiance revolves around dead 13 year old Riley. She crossed the bridge to the afterlife known as 'Here' and her life keeps on going. Living with her parents and dog. Only difference is her sister is alive. The council knows she wants to be on Earth, even if she is just roaming it as a ghost, so they give her a job. She is a Soul Catcher, she goes on  Earth and helps the ghosts stuck there to cross over. Only downside is her teacher for the job must come. A boy around her age named Bodhi. Her first job is to get a boy to cross. They don't know his name so he goes by something special. Radiant Boy.

---------------------------------------------------------

This supernatural book about the afterlife was a delight. This is the first book in a series. I finished this book quickly since it lacks many pages and is very short. You forget about the shortage of pages since the authour, Alyson Noel, put great description in this book. I recommend this book since it was such a fun (and a bit dememnted) book.

The Ex Games

The Ex Games is about Hayden and Nick who are ex's. In 7th grade they dated and had a nasty break up. Now their in High School and her two best friends are dating his two best friends, its just a matter of time till they date right? Wrong. That's when they get in a snow boarding competition. Everyone in town knows about it and couples, kids, and adults are betting on who will win. Who will win? And will the relationship everyone in town has wanted finally get together?

--------------------------------------------------------------

This book was a real page turner. The romance and competition was compelling and something no girl can resist. I read this book on Ibooks and I only wish to own the real book. Get this on ibooks or real book now!

Project 17

Project 17 is about a teenage boy, who is a total player, he wants to follow his dreams and be a director. So the mental assylum they are tearing apart is the perfect place to shoot. He gets a smart babe, two actors, a goth girl, and a funny guy. They all sneak in at the middle of the night. Little did they know the most terrifying thing of there lives would be their. And it all revolves around the number 17.

------------------------------------------------

This book was great! With horror, romance, and a bit of comedy you will love it. The number 17 is now a terrifying number to see and trust me do not read this book at night. While they find a diary and the seat #17 a ghost will haunt them in this place. Words splattered on the the wall and true terror running through your veins.

In this book by Lisa Greenwald, authour of My Life In Pink And Green, we learn about the clique-like life of middle school and learning who you truly are.

--------------------------------------------------------

This book was a delight to read and recommend it to girls of any age. We see the difference of each girl and how tough middle school can be. Lisa Greenwald is a great authour who understands tween girls and their differences. I actually can relate to this book because im going through some of these things myself. Trust me this is a book to read.

The Lying Game

Emma Becker's life has always been bad. Jumping from one Foster home to another, and as a child her mother leaving her she is confused in life. When her foster brother tricks her and shows a strange video she learns she has a twin sister. Her and her sister talk on facebook and she goes to meet her. That is until she finds out she died, Before that message was sent. She must live Sutton Mercer's life now and try to find out who killed her sister. Only one person knows Emma is pretending to be Sutton, and that is a loner boy named Ethan. We see this all through Suttons ghost who follows Emma through this all. Her ghost dosent remember a thing but may get flashbacks from what Emma discovers. Like most Sara Sheapard books there are twins and a evil secret. Sutton made many enimes while alive, especially with The Lying Game pranks, their are so many people who may be the killer. Sutton's killer watches Emma and keeps her on her toes everyday.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

These books are intriguing and myterious. The show is good but not as compeling as the books and it dosent potray the characters well. In the show i think only Mads and Laurel are like the characters in the book. I do love the show though. Sara Sheapard is one of my favorite authours and this series is great. I love how the cover it is the twins switched around upsidedown. If you put the books next to each other the face is complete. These books are great and i recomend them.

The Hush Hush Series

In Hush Hush, One day in class Nora must move seats next to the daring, handsome, and mysterious Patch. But Patch is different than expected. Some how able to know what shes thinking and always where she is Patch comes across scary. Nora is afraid but attracted and she finds out something truly terrifying. By touching his scars she finds secrets she wish she never saw. Including him being a Fallen Angel. Later in the second book, Cresendo, Everything seems to be fitting into place for Nora. That is until Patch and Nora's enemy Marcie Millar become close. What will happen to Nora's new found Angel-like life? In the third book, Silence, Nora wakes up in a cemetery forgetting everything in the past 5 months in her life. She was missing for months and dosent have a clue about what happened. Then she slowly starts falling in love with a mysterious stranger, again. Finally in the last book, Finale, Cheshvan is coming and so is a war. Nora and Patch are trying to get this over with while keeping Nora alive, that is until devilcraft comes in. Nora becomes addicted and this makes her insane. This is a great ending to this series with deaths of the bad and sadly some good. Luckily Nora and Patch get everything they wanted that we wanted too.

--------------------------------------------------------

I recently just finished the Hush Hush series, By Becca Fitzpatrick, and I loved it. With four books, Hush Hush, Crescendo, Silence, and Finale. All books go through normal girl Nora Grey's simple life, until she meets Patch. Throughout the books a new decision must be made and a challenging secret will be revealed. With secrets of her family and the same scars only certain people have Nora dosent know what happened to her normal life. Nora and Patch will always be a story to remember. So many bad things happened through these books but always a happy ending. These books are hard to keep your hands off and once your done you will want more. I suggest this book and think you should read it. This is inappropriate for some ages but a great story to read. This supernatural saga will always be one of my favorites. With characters to love or hate you know it's a story to remember.
