The Lonely Hearts Club

Penny Lane is sick and tired of love. When her boyfriend cheats on her she swears not to date another boy for a long time. Thats when her and her friends start The Lonely Hearts Club. This club is just about a no-boy land. It starts growing bigger and bigger. While a sweet boy wants to be with Penny Lane (and even sings the beatles song to her) she keeps her vow. The Lonely Hearts Club becomes the most popular club in school and every girl in school joins just for popularity. While love creeps up on the main girls and on Penny Lane we all hope for the best. The Lonely Hearts Club is a inspiration to girls everywhere knowingly to always put you and your friends first. Boys arent everything and this book shows that.

I read this book last year and loved it. While Penny Lanes parents love the beatles (hence her name and the book title) this romantic book is sweet. Giving up boys can't last forever but a break is always good. Penny Lane is such a great insparation and we only hope to be like her or have her as a friend in High School. This book is great for girls and very funny. This book is a romance comedy and you'll never want it to end, I know I didn't!
